Have you considered something like that? 440's are great (I have two), but are kinda heavy for a car that is already light in the a$$. But, at the end of the the day, it's your car, your decision. I remember my Dad shopping for a newer car, and he came home with one of those. I thought it was beautiful! it was black with red interior. 313 V8 and pushbutton automatic. We took it over to our trusted neighbourhood mechanic for an inspection. He found an area of the block that had been welded...

Coincidentally, I built a model of something like that. I used '66 442 and '66 El Camino kits. I call it "El Supremo".

This car showed up in my laneway, the other day. I had done some work on his cable-shift 727, and he was driving around enjoying his car. I sealed it up, so it was not leaking anymore, and installed and adjusted his cables.

My friend, Ross, has a 1967 Belvedere II that has the high mounted normal bright trim, as well as the GTX-style lower trim. This car is not a Silver Special. His previous '67 Belvedere was a Silver Special car, with the unique interior trim and matching vinyl top. It had the lower trim package.

H4A is Silver Special interior. The package usually included a matching charcoal/silver coloured vinyl top. Legendary Interiors reproduces these unique interior pieces and top.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. You have a nice collection of Mopars. The '67 Belvedere appears to be a Silver Special car, by silver and charcoal coloured interior, and GTX exterior chrome that was part of the package.
