Trailer Tire Pressure for My Tin Boat

Why the hell do you have D's on a trailer that lightweight? Get tires rated for the GVWR of the trailer. You should be running C's, tops, on that rig - and 35-50psi. Too low, it'll pogo; too high, and it slams in the bumps...

This is one of my favourites.... the guy at the end saying "Yeah Boy" is actually called Clint Eastwood. He is a Sparkie also, and featured in a TV advert over here for a Mobile Phone company. Neat guy....he likes my truck also. :steering:

Trailer Tire Pressure for My Tin Boat

I normally would have echoed the advice to run the max pressure that the tire says. However, in your case, with stout tires and a light boat..... I'd set em to 55 cold, take a tire gauge along, stop for breakfast/lunch after 50 miles, measure tire pressure, and feel how hot they are. Cool...

The Gold Fairy is alive and well . . .

No moderator will come right out and admit it but it is BS that the site does not automatically give them the GOLD status. Without it, how would you be able to check in on the segments only Gold members have? You're expected to moderate but have to pay to access the whole site?

Well that’s not bad either. I have wished my 69 X was a 68 since I bought it. Just like those better.

A new fast ratio replacement PS gear

The column shaft length is different between manual and power. Manual was longer. Not sure if you can collapse it some, others may know. My box was tight at first, feels fine now. Also, I replaced both arms, 4 tie rods, 4 ball joints too. Added to the tight feeling.

    Brake flaring tool question

Sorry, Carl...THOSE suck! These don't: Eastwood.... Mount the unit in a vise to hold it steady. Choose the size of the die you need... The dial has all the sizes shown to make it easy.

Trailer Tire Pressure for My Tin Boat

Gents! I know trailer tire pressure is of utmost importance, but I would like to see where the ends of the safe spectrum are. I purchased these wheels and tires new a couple of years ago... https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Tires-and-Wheels/Kenda/AM31985.html I have used them a few times and...
