LED fun on my 67 wagon

My wagon is fine after the wire switch on the plug and using the flasher with the separate ground lead. I did use the first LED flasher without the separate ground for the hazards and they too work. My dash lights are good to go and all functioning with the exception of the rh blinker one. A...

    Another LED Light Bulb Question

No flashers in the fuse block, that's the horn relay/key buzzer. Turn signal flasher is clipped to the ashtray frame, the 4-way flasher is clipped to the brake pedal support. Can’t run the original thermal flashers with all LEDs, need an electronic version, not load dependent.

    More LED bulb issues

I have had a similar problem, napa brand led 1157 replacements on my 67 and 70 Coronet. Several times people have told me one or both of my brake lights are out. Checked and they were right. Pulled the led's and re-installed them. Checked and they work again.

    Low alternator charge at idle

In my Valiant I have a power master and with the A/C on high, condenser fan on turn signal on my brake lights will bring it below 12v at idle in gear. Think I'll change the stop bulbs to LED. The test sheet that came with the alternator shows they don't put out that much at idle.

    Who wants brighter headlights?

Nice car. I swear these cars should have daytime running lights, they look awesome with these lights on during the day. Those are nice rims as well.

A great option for LED bulbs in taillights.

...So I bought a pair from Amazon and stuck them in this morning and they worked great. They are a red LED so not only are they bright but they are bright red too. One thing noticed is they are substantial in heft - definitely not a cheesy piece of cheap plastic and LED lights stuck in a 1157...

'70 Charger hood signal lenses not even close to fitting?

Here are mine. First are stock reproductions made 24 years ago, bought through "Charger Specialties" in Idaho. I don't think that they are in business anymore. These are 3D printed replacements with LED lights. Both sets fit fine. Some of the XH cars got blanks...

    My First American Muscle

I like LEDs, don't get me wrong...much more energy efficient, almost no heat...I swapped out most of the interior lights in my Grand National with blue LED bulbs, they're brighter than ordinary white bulbs and give it some character.

    Low alternator charge at idle

I did all this back in 17 and im only interested in the 4 lights on low conversion which I just figured out. Depending on your charging system it’s only going to cost you around 3 amps total to go to a 40 amp bulb and they are way brighter. Octane already has a 25w bulb which would be good for...

    led bulbs in the dash

A mystery! I had an OEM bulb burn out in the idiot light bar on my modified console after doing a long car cruise where I was on the brakes a lot for over an hour. (Had wired it to show left & right brake lights). I disassembled the console, a bee-itch to do, finding that socket looked...

What did you do to your Mopar today?

Yesterday on my A100 I removed the dash cover of the gauges to clean the bulbs and the reflective area around them and the glass so that maybe the lighting and viewing of the fuel gauge would be better. The fuel gauge is the farthest away from the bulb on that side and it's hard to see at night...
