No..it wasn't yesterday...but it was running, driving, and roadworthy and under $4k.Js No..I get it...and I do understand what your saying. It's just a rant, and a bit of shock......which I guess at our age should be finished off with.. "now stay off my lawn! " Side bar...what happened to our...

At what point did NEW lifters become junk out of the box and were.......

I bought a set of lifters from them within the past year that were not Johnson lifters. The set prior to that were Johnson's. The first set clattered like a SOB at start-up due to bleeding off, so I replaced them with the second set and it did the same. I have to remember to not rev the...

    Frontend ride height, limitations

@kerndog will be along on this. Too low and it hits the bump stops. That's bad in many ways and can cause loss of control in some situations. Suspension needs to work, move and control the car.

Stangs turn left at full throttle, don’t be on that side of the street when Cars/Coffee exits. BMW M4’s do too.

School me on door hinge date codes.

It will be a date or batch code .....you probably cannot find the answer to the decoding because hardly anyone would have kept records of such a part. It's not like carbs or wiper motors where everyone looks first. :)

Hard Lesson in Front Brake Drums...

Yeah I considered getting a RH drum assembly, but that still would leave me with the left rear being LH thread studs

    Lookie what $5000 buys you....

The link opened instantly for me, maybe cut and paste the following as text into the url bar www.amazon.com/SEM-39141-Trim-Black-Aerosol/dp/B000PKX0XE/ it seems the forum won't allow me to make that plain text without extra steps. Also I noticed toggling my Ad blocker on and off has an effect...

    Frontend ride height, limitations

Is this thinking correct? The lower the ride height, the lower, the torsion bar rate and the more rough the ride?

The pile can never be too high. Now I’m getting tight and thrifty at 71. Old habits are hard to break. I’d rather die broke to get back at the lazy kids.

Hard Lesson in Front Brake Drums...

10" drum assembly's shouldn't be to hard to find in LH or RH. If you find one, I suggest that you replace the the front bearing, races, and seals. I don't know if I have any 10" stuff laying around, but will check tomorrow as today is almost shot. Once you have bent a drum, it's toast.
