My oldest son, 55 yo, who is totally allergic to hippiedom told me that he thought 67 was the first year for satin finsh.
I'm thinkin' how does he know that & I can't remember?
Reefer Madness must'a been a true story.
At least I can blame it on age.
Thanx for the refresher responses
Next step- took the booster off- for two reasons
1- we are going to check the valve lash one last time before the fenders go on
2- since I had to take the booster off to get at the valve covers- good reason to change the bushings on the pedal linkage

I started taking my SS at my FRA of 66 1/2 (18 months ago) with all the credits you can have, and I continued to work (no penalty to your SS payment if at FRA when you file)
My wife opted at 65 to file for SS back when I did (18...
I HAVE a pump and can be mounted in tank or externally. Dont like in tank… to me makes no sense. External louder? Don’t bother me. Something goes wrong— syphon the tank, remove the tank, yank out the sender and pump. At 70, it no more fun on my back on the floor. No lift here. External pump-...
The keystones you're looking at move the tire farther away from the springs and upper control arm, compared to your current setup.
I'd be more worried about rubbing the fenders.
I can almost guarantee the 15x10s won't fit unless you jack the back up to the moon.
I am looking for a 1972 hood release cable or the under dash mounting bracket if it can be replaced separately. The part number for the cable is either 3695565 or 3670388 and has the horizontal handle and a loop in the cable on the under hood end.
Or, if possible, instructions on how to fix the...
The "problem" is that if you wait until 65 (vs 62), you never get those first three years payments.
That's a LOT more than 8+8+8 or 24%
It's 300%!
That's why there are those break even graphs.
External pumps way too loud. Get wallet and do it right. I attempted and failed to have an access panel installed in trunk floor to get at pump without dropping tank. Went with a fancy PWM and it failed. Been using a parts store Delco pump for years with no issues.
Most (but not all) of those big car sales crawler sites say how long ago the ad was posted.
Lots are 2, 3, 4 years ago.
Also, the links to the ads themselves usually have a "sold" overlay if they are sold.
That Cadillac, MI site does not even have links.
Apparently it doesn't have sold...
thanks for clarifying these details. It helps my understanding a lot. I know this is all shown in the "code" and rules, but sometimes it's easier to understand in pieces, as presented by someone who's already gone through it.
Tanksinc sending unit eliminating kit.
Has the best gasket for gas.
I know Summit has them.
Threaded C ring, bolts with o-rings, metal cap, gasket, not the cork gasket, the other one, neoprene iirc.
My wagon tank had a rust hole at the bottom. Hasn't leaked a drop in many years.
