Anybody know what year mopar started with the non-glare, frosted style wiper arms?

I believe chrome was outlawed at the end of 66.

Wish they had outlawed them in 65, in a 66, it's a bitch when the sun reflects off them into your eyeballs.

1967 model year was the first year mandatory for:
satin wipers
Seat belts for all passengers
Padded dash
Reverse lamps
Dual reservoir master cylinder
collapsible steering column

My oldest son, 55 yo, who is totally allergic to hippiedom told me that he thought 67 was the first year for satin finsh.
I'm thinkin' how does he know that & I can't remember?
Reefer Madness must'a been a true story.
At least I can blame it on age.
Thanx for the refresher responses

My dad bought a new Valiant in 1967, and I still remember the salesman touting those features. I was not a hippie, and had a clear head.

I have had numerous 66 Valiants and 66 Barracuda ,some with chrome wiper arms and some satin.

My 68 Coronet has chrome wiper arms. I don’t have any idea if they are original.
Correction it has satin arms but chrome blade support thingy’s

I see from my 66 vs 67, the arms are different. 2 rivets instead of 1 on the 67
