Instrument Specialties used to, they stopped. Maybe they know someone that still does it.

You "can" just run it through a switch, but it will sound anemic and possibly burn out the switch. Using a relay gives full juice to the horn, without running all that juice through the (likely Chinesium plastic) switch.

A dremal tool would make quick clean work on the mounting tabs. Levels keep things straight.
