1970 Road Runner Dash Pad Removal

I just recently completed replacing the dash pad on my 70 Coronet. Pretty much everything in the dash has to come out. I put blue masking tape on the new pad to mark the locations of the studs to make it easier to put the nuts back on.

Proving My Mopar Street Cred... now prove yours

1985 my first car, a 68 charger. Had to rebuild the front suspension, rebuild the 318, and buy new tires. Got it done and on the road a few months before graduation In 1987. I have had at least 1 classic Mopar ever since.

    aftermarket console for bench seat

I bought one for my 4 speed non console bucket seat Coronet from Classic Consoles. They make ones for bench seats also. They also have one that sits on top of the 66-70 consoles. A little pricey, but good quality.

FOUND Drivers side rear stainless piece for door panel. 68 through 70 B body Plymouth

I believe 66-70 are the same, I know the fronts are because I used a spare set from my 67 Coronet, to replace the bent ones on the 70 Coronet. So I would imagine the rears are too. I have a set of rears; I'll try and send you some pictures tomorrow. if you want them, I'll send them to you for free.

Swapping a Borgeson steering box in a 1970 Charger

I can only imagine since there was no power assist, there was no fluid moving. Fluid must of gotten really hot. Installed replacement pump, and everything worked great for 9 years (over 10,000 miles). The system still works great, just an intermittent squel. More of a nuisance than anything.

Swapping a Borgeson steering box in a 1970 Charger

Like I said I'm not blaming Peter or BAC. His customer service is excellent. Also my steering setup was installed in 2016, and has been working great for 9 years. So even if the the pump is bad I would recommend this setup over stock steering box any day.

Swapping a Borgeson steering box in a 1970 Charger

The last video you posted sounds just like mine. I bought mine as a complete kit from Peter at BAC. I did have a problem with the pump. When I did the initial install. I had almost no power assist, this was while trying to bleed the system with the front tires off the ground and turning the...

    Looking for Owner history

Has he set you pictures of the car, with the vin tag attached to the car? Maybe all he has is a vin tag, and a picture of the old title. If you help him get a title, and transfered to his name. Now he has a valid title and Vin that he can attach to a shell and sell, for more money than...

Swapping a Borgeson steering box in a 1970 Charger

I agree, I've been very happy with mine since the install in 2016. But recently I have a loud belt squeal. Intermittently mostly in reverse but a few times in forward gear, always at low speed. Like I said in another post, since its going on 10 years I figured it must be the belt. Changed the...
