I am a huge CTEK fan. It works on different battery types and can be left connected when the car is garaged. Comes with a quick disconnect. I use a red Optima battery which had drained completely. The CTEK unit has a reconditioning cycle which resurrected my battery completely...

That’s what happened to mine. Restored five years ago, and paint started to bubble in spots. Previous body guy was a Bondo Botticelli, but didn’t seal spots well. Mostly small pinholes where moisture could get under the paint.

They no longer make Centari, but they do make a lower V.O.C. version of IMRON. If you use quality base coats and clear coats, they will not peel. bad prep and incompatible products cause problems.

I have a 5 year old Husky that i recently had to replace the capacitors on. You got lucky for that length of time. My old craftsman blew out the reed valves. Buy the capacitors on line cheaper..

Well my memory was wrong, the old style has the same taper on both sides.

Motor got a capacitor for start... always it ! Unless you cooked the windings...

So 4- outside 2- inside Its a tight race…. Seems like it would go either way…
