I used the skin from the original hood (reinforcement all rotted out) to bend up a scoop for my 65 Belvedere. I cut a round hole to fit my choice of filter and then cut the reinforcement back another 1 1/2" to leave me a flat area to seal the filter housing to the hood skin. Then made cardboard...
Whether its steel or 'glass, its gonna look like this - in other words, without getting up close all you'll see is a dark void !
And ... depending on your choice of air cleaners you'll probably need to hack into the rear structure.
I had to double check which forum I was on. For a minute there I thought I logged onto the Factory Five forum with the broke dick "built not bought" chest-pounding hack crowd....lol.
Ive been reading and seeing 6 quarts plus 1 quart for the oil filter for 1970 hemi and 440 six pack oil pans but is that correct? How does that little filter hold 1 quart of oil? Seems like an overfill?

I just received my Grant 1170 wheel Saturday.
No help as this was for a 68 Charger.
Adapter 4313 was 35.99 on Summit.
I see for a 67 the menu said for “most models” doesn’t sound to reliable for getting the correct part.
