my GTX and the Pumpkin both set up about 9/32 (a fat 1/4).......its not uncommon to have 5/16 hood to cowl, so it doesnt hit
I've had other B Bodies set up 3/16 +/-
Checked my parts car, rear windows trim has been removed. Might have a set in my storage container. It looks like you might have found a set. Mark the thread found if you did.
I grew up farming with equipment from the 1950s.
Oak blocks are useful for a lot of things, including making sure multi-ton stuff can't roll..... or fall on you.....
2 things are a constant.......the quarters, and the cowl
you put the hood where it fits to the cowl, put the fenders where they need to be in relation to the front of the hood and the cowl
hang the door in the opening........you have a little wiggle room in everything......

Maybe it is my age or what is going on in my life, maybe it is just how youtube people are, but I get SOOOO irritated when there is someone with some type of news and they make a 20 minute video.

Something you don't see alot of anymore.. mismatched wheels. I remember not able to afford 4 fancy wheels and tires so settled for two out back. Then ran some cast offs on the front that friends or neighbors had.
