    Built vs Bought

I think this approach is a good compromise, and perhaps the most economical. I have a close friend with outstanding fabrication and mechanical skills. We've analyzed the costs of his builds, which have great craftsmanship. Not cheap. He is extremely well off, no kids, and can afford to be an...

    Built vs Bought

I prefer building them, but there is something to be said for buying them too. I have twenty plus project Mopars, some of them are running and driving, infact this year was the first time in years that I had to get other people to take some of my cars to shows, but I bought the Corvette, and did...

Pics from Back in the Day

This is how these cars were back then. No one would ever be seen with dork dish hubcaps and skinny white wall tires like you see on every Mopar now a days.

1974 Roadrunner Re-Paint and Some Upgrades

I learned all the trouble spots during the early 70s, patching up our family's daily drivers to get them through Pennsylvania state inspections. One reason I was able to snag my current GTX was that the seller couldn't prove it had been restored with NOS sheet metal. I told him if he put it on...

Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

I need another mug. The K cup machine works good but sometimes I should just brew a pot. (or a half a pot anyway)

Dual disk inside a vented drum. Yowza. That's like 8 track tech before cassette tech.

Coil pickup and reluctor change out?

Just change the pickup. I would pull the distributor to change it. Much easier to find a lost screw of the 1/32 roll pin.

Eh..... Original is cool. That one is like everything else, non-imaginative and looks like every other Ram. Blacked-out, is played-out.

FBBO member RJRENTON "Bob" has passed away.

A lot of what Bob discussed was beyond my scope of understanding. Hopefully he's debating the idiosyncrasies of the 70's electronic ignition system with it's developer whoever that is. The world needs minds like Bob's, and he will be missed here.

six pack tuning help in NJ

There was a mechanic here in Long Valley that favored Mopars, he moved his shop a couple of years ago and I don't know where. Long Valley Auto Body (also favors Mopars) would use him, their number is 908-876-5584. The mechanics name is John they would probably know where he moved to. Everyone...
