Fan belts squealing - can’t seem to solve

Two things, is that a cogged belt? Second, if a belt bottoms out in a pulley groove, it will never stop squealing. A/C belts were solid matched belts. Don't believe they are available any longer.

What a passionate car guy, just like all of us !! I've used his advice many times for many problems in my car when I first got it years ago. I fixed it the way Bob told me too, and I'm going to leave it that way now, because it works, it won't break, and Bob told me to do it that way. RIP Mr...

    69 Coronet R/T 440 overhaul and upgrade

My pride and joy, a 69 coronet R/T car raffle prize, has been dead in the garage for almost 10 months now. Patiently waiting for all the parts she needs to get her back out on the road again. She developed a knock in the bottom end. And when that bottom end starting knockin', I answer. Toasted...

Factory or aftermarket harnesses? Aftermarket harnesses can be used but are challenging to someone who doesn't know. Factory stuff is pretty easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. I've wired about 4 cars myself. Not a resume just saying.

    FOR SALE 1979 Cordoba....Serious Price Drop....Storm Damage

$5000 BIN or get real close 3 weeks ago or so, we had a pretty good hail storm here, golf & ping-pong ball size, serious stuff, and not just a little bit as it carried on for awhile. All the pics were taken prior to the storm and being that it is a white car they don't show up very well in...

Fan belts squealing - can’t seem to solve

I may be forced to do this again. I’ve been working on this for 10 years plus and pulled belts off, changed belts, etc - that I can’t remember what I’ve done and the results anymore. Pretty sure I had it down to the PS or WP belt but may have to recreate my past work. But, once pinned down...

    Hypothetical Question

There are 2 sides to a relationship. One of them failed if you ask either one you will get different answers. There are a million single ladies out there that either were the problem or were subjected to the problem. I'm so over it to be honest and I have my mind made up.. Dude is going to have...

Open carb spacer - wow, what a difference!

I bought a clone of that exact same spread-bore carb spacer on Amazon. It had a rough bead-blasted texture but I fine-sanded and polished it on the surfaces that mattered. I had a 1" spacer already but noticed it was cut straight, and wouldn't mate nicely with my Edelbrock Performer spread-bore...

Open carb spacer - wow, what a difference!

That sounds like a nice build. That's an easy 1 HP/Cube at the crank. Good numbers. I've got a real nice Weiand I was going to put on my stock Poly but I kitted the carb and it starts and runs so sweet, I'm just going to leave the 2 barrel on it.

    Qualified Electrical Shop

Hey guys, I have a 70 Road Runner that has some electrical issues/problems that myself and a few others can’t readily solve. I’m in Port St Lucie, FL and trying to find a qualified electrician that knows classic MOPAR vehicles, that might be able to fix the problems.
