Open carb spacer - wow, what a difference!

That sounds like a nice build. That's an easy 1 HP/Cube at the crank. Good numbers. I've got a real nice Weiand I was going to put on my stock Poly but I kitted the carb and it starts and runs so sweet, I'm just going to leave the 2 barrel on it.

Opinion: One nicely restored Mopar or a yard full of projects?

I have one pretty nice one and one not quite so nice. I like them both. I was thinking of selling both my cars and I could get 1 real nice one but I don't have the patience or energy to keep it that way and the last thing I would want is a trailer queen.

Good luck with the newly produced T/S switches. Most are no good and don't work properly. Here's a discussion about them for early B body cars. Yours should have a similar switch. Early B Body turn signal switch discussion. Shee Mar SM102

Reproduction 70 turn signal switch hazard fitment issue

Pull it out and trim it off so the knob will slide in the hole. Here's another reason that re-pop T/S switches are of poor quality. Most switches don't work correctly once installed. Good luck.

    Thosaf extractor set junk

"Easy out" is an oxymoron. Even the expensive ones will break. If the bolt broke, there was a reason. The threads wouldn't break loose and drilling a hole and tapping in a tapered easy out doesn't always correct the problem.

Open carb spacer - wow, what a difference!

It looks like you have something going on with that Poly. I have heard people complain about how doggy a Weiand intake is on a stock engine because it's an open plenum intake. It seems, adding a 4 barrel would be best with a hard to find stock 4 barrel intake or an adapter from 2-4 on a stock 2...
