WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

It's not the one. The car I've seen is light green metalic, dog dish hub caps & looks to be a real 68 Super Bee.

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Thanks @Cranky , it will be. I've had a severely leaking valve for a few years now. They tried to replace it at the hospital when I was in for an event not attributed to the valve so I shut that down. The reason it's not already done is because I'm one of 1%-2% of people with this affliction...

    Axle & Diff Rebuild Time

I haven't got that far. I was waiting to see if there was a correct/preferred location for the locking pawl before torquing down the nuts.

Why are there so many members on this early!?

I set an alarm, and wake up 10 minutes before it goes off, every time. Sometimes wake up a 3am and bam I'm up like someone flipped a switch. I usually get up and go out to the shop and get some stuff done.

Good deal on Milwaukee battery tools....

I get a Milwaukee flyer twice a year, I use these times to purchase the expensive tools. I bought my bandsaw this spring and got a 6.0 battery free.

    Questions about front shocks.

I should of mentioned earlier that it is sitting on blocks at the moment so the suspension is at full droop. I ordered them through Kanter recently. The bilstein measure 15 3/4 from center of hole to top of first rubber bushing. The original shocks measure close to 16 1/2.

    Axle & Diff Rebuild Time

Not that I'm aware of. Whichever slot in the big adjuster nut aligns best with the pawl under one of the five nuts. What did you set your endplay to? My 67 FSM said .013-.023". I went with .010 since I put new bearings in. Allowed for a little wear in.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. Bob was a knowledgeable Mopar hear. From my own experience, Bob was very helpful to me troubleshooting my 66 Satellite electrical issues. There was no mention in obituary of Bob's service in Vietnam. Thank you Bob. I appreciated your opinions and...

What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Exactly - don't sweat it. It is what it is, and they can fix whatever they find. I had heart surgery in my early 40s - atrial flutter, 2 halves of my heart beating opposite each other, cancelling out any pumping ability. Racing heart rate...low blood pressure. Electrical misfire. Scope surgery...

    Rebuilding LemonWedge.

Thanks for sharing your ordeal. Glad your ok. I hope lemon wedge has a good fall and winter and gets back on the road soon. I'm curious does the track mandate diapers at a certain e.t. to help prevent oil downs?
