A UPS MD11 crashed near work this evening.
Prayers to all involved. You can see the smoke plume from our security camera.

Like Mark said, back the video up. Blew an engine, creamed through the roof of the first building and carried on. I wouldn't want to be any of those guys with hoses on those HUGE propane tanks...

I see those UPS freighters and the FedEx ones almost every night landing at BDL (Hartford -Springfield).

Worked at McDonnel Douglas Milton From 1979 t0 1983 in building D3. DC10 wing jig. I installed the fuel system pick up's and a few spars in each shift. High tension fasteners, huck fasteners and rivets, was the deal for the day. When the 10 orders started to reduce, I got shipped to the east side of the plant to DC9. When something like this happens, I feel it...
