Yes, plastic clips went over the studs and slid to the side to lock into place then the trim would press onto the plastic clips. It is one or both types of these clips.

Studs across the roof with a hole at the curvature on each side. One stud below that and the clips are screwed on along the bottom of the sail panel.

Can anyone show me how the sail panel and over the roof trim is fastened on a 73-4 SE? I’m prepping to paint my oldest brothers car and the previous owner just filled in the small holes in the body of the car. Is there supposed to be the mushroom studs on the body? Thanks Jim

How did you work out the wiring for the solenoid? The cable that goes to the battery is too short.

Here you can see what some of the holes are for on the passenger side.

I just put one in my 67 Charger with a 383 and the cable going to the battery is too short. I'm trying to figure out a way to make it work. The starter is new, and I didn't want to just put in another rebuilt starter. The starter I pulled out looked freshly rebuilt.

You could try to fit it this way.

Or you can improve the firewall insulation by doing it this way.

Morning my early morning people. 30 years of 5am and restless leg syndrome 4 am is my new normal.

Wondering on the interest on these. I can now stamp dual point tags instead of the engraved ones out there. I have to have some sort of proof what distributor it is or the old tag. I can also do the non embossed tags also. I dont want these to go on re tagged distributors.
