yeah, i was wondering if the borgeson uses slightly larger holes.. right now it's not a big thing but it's something i want to take care of when the motor is out (if i ever get my block back from machining)

thanks, good to know. His website says the pump is modified to work with the Borgeson. Maybe he's not the one who does the modifying.

There have been reports of a H I S S sort of noise, others mention a sort of HUMM. Either way, this is a form of resonance that may be related to the output of the P/S pump itself. The stock steering box was very forgiving of pump pressure variations but the Borgeson seems to be more finicky.

I bought a cooler from BAC when ordering a Borgeson box from them. Works a treat even with the factory pump on a '72 Satellite.

A good rebuilt original mopar box is not terrible but still nowhere near as responsive as a Borgeson unit. Yeah, it isn’t cheap but it is a definite improvement.

I've heard this before. It seems to be a characteristic that many of them have. Functionally, the Borgeson unit is excellent. The noise they make is considered normal.
