I have read that the average person loses approx 50% of their night vision by age 40. It is so gradual its's hard to notice the decline, and our brain compensates to a large degree until it gets overwhelmed as it indicated here by many. I think the problem here really is the inability to adapt...

I looked for years in Texas for a '68 GTX (preferably a Hemi) and didn't find any before stumbling across the '70 Charger I purchased in 1985.
The engine the Six pack was on was some cast crank deal I didn’t build. It idled like a pro stocker. Wild guess would be something like a 484 mp type. Around that time I was fooling with both a 750 vacuum Holley and also an 850 dp. Could’ve been either. I had a few cars at the same time back then.

Fold down the back seats. Then find the latches.
Sam69 posting shows the assembly for non Charger 66-7 b bodies. Won’t work with 66-7 Chargers. They are unique.
