Your best beater that you beat the snot out of but it kept treating you well?

75 Toyota Corolla. Bought for $500 in Hawaii in 1991 when I was getting out of the Navy because I didn’t want car payments. Sold my 1989 VW Scirocco 16V and bought the Toyota. Your tax dollars paid to ship anywhere in my home port. The Government shipped it to San Francisco. I drove it...

Where/How to mount my old school Sun Tachometer (NOS)?

This. I have a 74 4 speed and I mounted 3 gauges under the dash in that location. Water Temp Oil 2” gauges. Then I mounted the rocket tach on the tunnel in the 1 o’clock position with the shifter boot angled up and towards the driver. I had the same problem as you, no stock tach. Oil and...

Where/How to mount my old school Sun Tachometer (NOS)?

I did the same with a small autometer tach. Exactly same spot, just right underneath the ashtray on my 74. Being an auto car, doesn’t really need to get a constant view over it. Just referential.

    727 swapped for what

It sounds like he built you a 65 trans possibly. But there's no way anyone can tell you which input spline is in there. Have to remove + count.

    727 swapped for what

63 polara with a 440/727. I had the trans rebuilt by Mr Art Carr. The trans I had used the early joint. I wanted to use a normal joint. He got me a later case which uses push buttons ad a normal u joint. Here’s the question. If I want to purchase a new torque converter how can I tell the spline...

WTB YOUR SICK OF IT!!! LOOKING FOR A HEADACHE!! WTB 68-70 Charger. The Kind That’s Destroyed Relationships and Bank Accounts.

I think I read somewhere that B5 was the most popular colour, but I could be wrong. I know that B5 with white top, C stripe, and buckets makes for one beautiful car. That’s what wife and I have on the Wannabee. I like B7, also.

    Car Sold - New Beginnings

Not at the moment, but that could change. When I got the '67 I was really looking for a '69 B-Body since I am that year vintage myself. So I may try again in the future to grab a project or maybe something more finished, who knows.. Just not rushing into anything.

My stock 72 Vega believe it or not. Sold it for the few dollars I had in to it. Next had to be my 72 Challenger slant 6 with 3 speed manual transmission. Terry W.
