Well, the time for a change came, and I have sold my '67 Satellite about 2 weeks ago.

A very nice gentleman from the B.C. interior made the trip down to Abbotsford, went over the car with a fine tooth comb & decided that the car was for him.

He had also asked his wife in advance for permission, and she loved the colour of the car, so that made for a smooth shopping experience.

We did our transaction and he drove the car on its 458km (285 mile) journey back to his home & garage just in time before the snow flies. He texted me on arrival that the car ran flawless on the trip.

I gave him the URL for this forum, so you may see someone new in the Welcome Wagon with a familiar car.

Not sure what is in the future for me car wise at the moment. I do know that some extended travelling is in my future. I do plan on hanging around here and offering help if I have something to say. Might have to change my handle though, lol.

The final view, as she was leaving my place....

Are you looking for any particular car to replace it?

Not at the moment, but that could change. When I got the '67 I was really looking for a '69 B-Body since I am that year vintage myself.

So I may try again in the future to grab a project or maybe something more finished, who knows.. Just not rushing into anything.

No need to rush. When the right car presents it self, you will know it.
