I'm 99% sure I am going to gut the electronics and vacuum lines and run a carburetor intake.

    Thosaf extractor set junk

Never had an “extractor” remove a frozen/rusted bolt. Best luck I’ve had is welding a nut and carefully heating with an acetylene torch. Old used rod nuts work great for this. Otherwise I center punch, drill, and tap.

I think I am going to modify my engine hoist by welding up the pull arm in the long position and adding a longer arched strap on top.

Getting the engine out wasn't terrible, but there was some cussing. Got the engine mount bolts out, removed the trans mounts. I did find a few wires, cables and hoses still connected. I had to modify my lift plate to fit the 2bbl tbi intake. Pulling both trans and engine was sketchy but once...

    Pilot bushing seems oversized.

Crankshafts in pre-Magnum style Chrysler engines could be un-drilled, drilled but not finish reamed, or finish reamed to size. The pilot bushing was installed in the finish reamed crankshafts if intended, or potentially intended, for manual transmission use. The original Chrysler Oilite pilot...

Engine and transmission are out! I had a free day and decided today is the day. So I aired up the flat tire and used my little tow and push vehicle to push the truck in the garage. Wife was planting roses so I was solo.

    Dilemma For My Sunroof Car

That's not an original 4-speed car. The 'clutch' pedal is for doing burnouts with an automatic - you can build up engine RPM's while simultaneously dis-engaging the torque converter. When you're ready to paint the black stripes on the road, let that clutch pedal go. :poke: Saves wear &...

    Exhaust Tips

Just removed a fuel cell from my 67 coronet trunk and reinstalled an original fuel tank and plumbing. I then installed the correct tail pipes along the tank. My exhaust outlets are about 5 or 6 inches below my bumper. Is this normal?

What's it Worth 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Manual Track Pack Car Barn Find

A factory white car is either the worst or second worst color. Severely limits its finished value. I dare say it’d be worth more with a color change, even if done to concour level. I saw a bronze hemi road runner sell in the last month that was perfectly changed over to black and it brought...
