Totally agree. All of those look bad to my eyes. I also wonder how long those hinky-dink door handles will last until they break...seems weird to me, if you're going to modernize the door handles, french 'em or something, don't leave them sticking out there but lacking a push-button.

    At SEMA...

Agreed, that's what they did to the Fast & Furious later versions of Charger. I've seen a similar treatment done quite a bit with these recent resto-mods, and doing away with the pop-up headlights is blasphemy, in my books. When I fabricated my own grille to fix several broken areas, I...

    Opinions appreciated

Beige wheels on a beige car? No, too much beige. The beige makes those wheels look like they're made of plastic. And a design like that, you're gonna hate when it comes time to washing them clean...I hope you have some spare toothbrushes.

Bug removal from front end of our old cars??

That stuff is awesome. It's a great degreaser and general cleaner, and also good for a final wipe if you're spraying paint or clear.

Is there some rule of thumb for shipping a car?

One dollar per mile last year for enclosed transport of a non-running car from Prescott, Arizona to Savannah, Georgia. Called and scheduled less than one week before pick up of car. I got lucky on pick up date. No damages at time of delivery. One dollar per mile in 2015 for enclosed transport...

My least favorite thing about classic cars is...

I don't care for the lack of anonymity. "I saw you...(fill in the blank). The car is quite 'noticeable' for sure.

I saw that one in the theater too. "Loose Shoes" is another funny one similar to Kentucky fried movie. Saw that in the theatre too. You'd never get away with some of the stuff in that film today.

Check "clearing" for the nth time

I think you are missing the main point here, "you" never really have deposited check "money" in your account, you just have funds "available" that the banks can recall at any time without any notice, and no one is exempt from that.
