I've had about 6 Chrysler vehicles from the year 2000. A couple mini vans, Intrepid, Sebring, 300M's etc... They were all extremely reliable and have really long spark plug replacement intervals.

I did not know until about a decade ago that they almost made it.

The starter used on the 143 tooth FW should work with the 130 tooth with a possible exception. I believe some mini starters may have clearance issues with the block as the starter is closer to it with the smaller (130 tooth) FW.

My 66 Charger in stock form with a 3:23 gear could get 17mpg but that was driving it with an eggshell under my foot. Now it will get 14.5 driving to Carlisle mostly 65-70 mph. We had a 66 Newport 383-2 when I was a kid that could get 18 mpg towing a small aluminum boat.

It's not so much the psi, it's the CFM. CFM. CFM. 400 CFM (if at 200psi) should do it, though.

Best comment. Gotta have some tools and ignition spares in the trunk of these old gals, especially if you're running points. You should make sure you have the correct balast resistor, that it is good, and hooked up correctly. You might still have it hooked up wrong ...just less wrong than...

Hello are, do you have to remove the windshield to get the dash out, or can it be done without, I need to do some wiring under the dash, Just thinking it might easier on a bench vs on my back
