Good car, pretty darn straight, not a rust bucket, but has the normal b body issues. Slant six, auto, ran when parked (8-9 years ago). A bunch of NOS and repro parts. 1 repaint over the original. Great starting point, or do what it needs and enjoy the original condition!
Looks to me like someone took the tube out of and identical sending unit and added into that sending unit as a return possibly for an EFI set up up that ran an external pump. Looks like it could have been an earlier b body one ?
This is like an oxymoron in car form. There are some jokes about the top and going 180mph but I am laughing to hard to put them together right now.... BEHOLD:

I didn't like how short the belts were, the ones with the receiver latch.
I'd prefer that they were longer and stuck up between the seats a little more.
These belts are just nylon without the plastic/vinyl covers like here:
I wanted to extend the belts so they would not get shoved in...
I had an uncle that was a bodyman and he made his living for many years fixing totals and then selling them. With his help I bought several totals from the insurance auctions over the years for my vehicles and for my kids first cars. First is how do you want to fix the damage? all new OEM...
I have some pics of one head that came today. Iwater tested them cc them at 65.her a few pic of the intake side not polished by pretty clean air flow to cylinders.
