is it an on/off switch or momentary? I added a switch around the same place to disable the power windows, like a power window lock. it goes to the power window relay that is pretty much right above the switch. If it was a rotory knob, then might be front/rear speaker fader.

It was molded to the rear lamp wiring harness. Last I checked, that harness was not available re-pop for 72 B-bodies. You may have to make one.

See now that makes sense to me but the aftermarket ones have 4 legs bent the opposite way they do on push in nor do the have legs that spring hold them in place

That was a dud. Don't imagine T Stewert and Hagan are very happy either. Might be time for a change of venue for the finals. Making everybody go to the left coast is very costly, as the low turnout for TF showed. Thanks OC for the fun!!!
