I was thinking that it would be worth $200. You'd pay over $105 at a self serve junkyard around here, that is what I paid last month. This being harder to find than a Toyota or Ranger.....
Very cool.... the only time I have been to Invercargill is as a stopover when a flight was diverted from landing in Queenstown due to low cloud. Queenstown is (or was) a visual only landing airport - being surrounded by high mountains. The 3-1/2 bus ride north was the absolute pits...
That is nuts. Seems like you’d have to be just an unbelievable prick and would have to try really hard to even piss off Bob at all. Some people just can’t get over themselves. Sad but true.
Drivers for Reliable are like the cars they haul, remnants of a past era when muscle cars roamed the streets, and good experienced truck drivers made as much as a doctor or lawyer. They make that level of money today, because their responsibilities rise to the same level.
Oh yeah....I enjoyed that part - one of the few shorts I had seen.
But yes.....first time ever watching it.
I liked the part when he fires that Bazooka thing down the road tunnel....and the kid on a bike has to tell him how to use it. Kid is looking for the film-set cameras....
We have a local guy who truly gets upset when he doesn't win a trophy or best of show every time. Keep in mind that he spent 30 years restoring it and it is probably worth over 300K. The car is beautiful and does win best of show alot. Now, I have beaten him at 3 different shows that I know of...
The biggest show I know of here in the tri-state az area, keeps getting smaller and smaller. The nicest show, put on by a church in Havasu for a good cause, keeps getting bigger.
I honestly don't know if either is a judged show. I just go to look at cars. (And entertain my dog.)

'69 Road Runner glove box swings up. I have mine apart, will get back with you on the rubber bumpers. Yeah, I think something is wrong over by my fuse box flap too.
I'm not sure about the voltage regulator as I don't have the one wire alternator but you most certainly can get rid of the ballast and ignition module. I made a jumper to eliminate the ballast and used the existing blue wire that used to go to the coil.
