So I am about to install my 440 into the 73 Charger. I have a progression distributor and a 1 wire alternator. So by my thinking, all I need is a clean 12v to the coil and the clean 12v to the distributor. Fuel pump, Lights, horn and electric choke are the only other wiring needs. I can eliminate the ballast resistor, voltage regulator and the electronic ignition module correct?

Battery Positive Lead to Starter relay, Battery ground to motor and firewall.

Am i wrong in this thinking? I removed all the spaghetti for the old MSD and electric fan relays.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about the voltage regulator as I don't have the one wire alternator but you most certainly can get rid of the ballast and ignition module. I made a jumper to eliminate the ballast and used the existing blue wire that used to go to the coil.
