My 62 is ready for a cruise!

I have no experience with what new heater core would be good to by other than taking the old one to a radiator shop and that could be more expensive than a new one. Glad you break in went okay.

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

I know a guy that said he spent two days cleaning his newer Challenger for a local show that I went to. I didn`t even wash mine as I just gave it a quick detail a couple weeks before, drove it 120 miles, parked it with grime and dirt on the lower quarters, a dirty interior and went off and...

    Vibration on Highway at 60+

It could be as it could hold up alot better to the abuse its put through, where oil would breakdown a factory mount much quicker.

    69 RR Glove box

Just went out and checked my glovebox, I see no rubber bumpers. Having said that, my glovebox was not functional for years because of a roll cage support, which I am correcting. I believe though, that I have everything, everything is not together yet. I see no holes for rubber bumpers.

That’s a 67, the 66 was non collapsing, and the diameter of the collapsing column is larger so it won’t fit a 66 Dash.

Where did you and your car go today

I only recently found out about a gas station fried chicken franchise at one of my local gas stations, Krispy Krunchy Chicken. It is surprisingly good, but the sides are kind of lacking. Its a little weird to me the gas station food options because I don't think of that as a place to eat other...

    Looking for car cover suggestions

I bought this one, Budge B-5 car cover for the '86 Grand National. It fit well enough, I don't need custom contours, just something to keep the dust off a garaged vehicle after I did a good waterless wash and exterior detailing late this summer. Apparently this size will fit my '70 Charger too...

These are the only 2 trophies/plaques that I've ever won. Neither has anything to do with the vehicle which, of course, I didn't build. Both have everything to do with driving it. Both are proudly displayed in my office for my enjoyment. Sorry about the sideways orientation.

    Looking for car cover suggestions

For indoor( garage ) storage I use painters plastic . It’s super light, allows air movement so it doesn’t build up humidity. Easy on and off. Just label the top with a marker or whatever so the same side goes to the car each time you remove it.

    Car Show Gripe/Rant

We have a big show and shine Friday night, Memorial Day weekend. Hundreds of cars attend. A group of us Mopar guys all park in the same place and we draw quite a crowd. I don't have time to walk around and look at cars. Too busy visiting with the other guys and the spectators. Right @Scott...
