I have never been to a show where they issue trophies, the shows on my small island are just the cruise in type. So I have no comments on trophies. But I agree with Runner 68 comments about late model Challengers/Chargers. I'm usually the only old Mopar or at best one of a hand full of old...
Nope. Long gone. But, from what I was told, the PO sent the VIN and build sheet to the Super Bee registry (at the time I didn’t know that was a thing) and they (I think) reproduced a fender tag that could be re-stamped. And, apparently, it shows the N96 package along with all the other included...
I see no advantage, only disadvantage. The lower control arm needs to be beefier [ read: heavier ], plus the added weight of the spring/components just adds unsprung weight which hurts handling...& ride quality.
The Mopar front end was brilliant from day one in 1958, why mess with it?

Hey Dan, I don’t know if that’s the case, was just a thought from what I was told. I’m still trying to confirm figure out what this car has / had / was supposed to have. Is there a straight forward way to tell? Build sheet? I’m certainly a new Mopar guy so just hoping for some guidance...
I modified a later 1970 727 linkage operated trans to work with a 1964 cable operated console shifter. Reason I did it was because that shifter had the nicest action/feel of any shifter I have used. Like a knife through butter....
Just got word that my truck and driver just arrived to the Marshaling yard and will be off loading in the am. Said there are quite a few there already. I wonder how many from b bodies only are there?
Ok so now I’m a little confused…. I m pretty sure the build sheet says it had the N96 package. I’ll double check but if it did, maybe someone replaced the switch??? I can post a pic of the build sheet if it helps.
