    IMO that bolt looked like it bottomed out way before getting tight and hit the shank where there is no threads.

    Look at that acid stain on top. Overfilled, overcharging or both. Add that acid to the multiple connectors, lead terminal, steel hardware and that's what you get.

    transmission and or torque convertor, gear ratio and car weight will need to be considered to properly make a choice. You don't want to go too big for your combo and have a total dog that's no fun to drive
