You will probably be happier if you start with a new cable. But what I have done is take the cable out of the car and work a lubricant into the cable.

Does anyone know where these washers go on the tail panel of a 68 charger? I think they’re for the trim but not sure. Are they reproduced? Thanks

I’ve been driving the 383 in this since 2004. It’s been my daily everyday since 2014. All I’ve ever put in the tank is 93 unleaded. The engine’s never been apart, and doesn’t burn much of the Mobile 10w-40 I put in it.

The wires are a bit frayed. Gonna try and track down a new motor for it

My 93 was originally a 3.9 it would get around 23 mpg on the highway. I put a totally rebuilt 5.2 in it at 157,000. I think it's around 210,000 now.

Unfortunately, I do not know for certain. It was rebuilt with aluminum ProMax heads before I bought it. Can I assume that since they are aluminum heads that they would have hardened valve seats? They would have steel inserts, and no one would put in non-hardened inserts, would they? Vance

The amount of HEMI convertibles is mind boggling. Imho, the B3 roadrunner convertible at the entrance was just about the most beautiful car these eyes have ever seen… of course, I was so enamored, I forgot to take pics…

FWIW, I had the heater box in and out FIVE times. Yes, its a PITA BUT the end result was worth the effort. The dash was out by the way !

Mine is dead center above the hump. Drilled the 2" hole then made a plastic two-piece block that the cables go through and it screws in place to cover the hole (photo 2). The heater is in place and the harnesses run UP behind the heater and are looped up under the dash. The ECU and a bunch of...
