    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I just watched an Engine Masters episode last night on the motorhome 440 they put a turbocharger on. It was a stock low compression 440 and they ran that Comp 268H cam. They ran it naturally aspirated with stock heads and again with Trick Flow 240's. You should see if you can watch it and it...

    Sheet Metal Divider, How to?

Be sure to consider once you get the metal cut, will it fit through the rollbar to the seat area. I have to address this myself. I have sheetmetal sandwiched between the seat (still installed) and cross supports, but it’s not sealed, and the package tray is wide open. This racecar thing sure...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

Yeah, I prefer a 106-108 for my engines, but mine aren't intended to be mild street engines. I have a solid roller on a 104 that I REALLY wanted to use, but it hit the rods I was using, so it's still sitting on the shelf.....waiting.

Man, be careful getting back on the roads after drifting off the pavement

Years ago, I was a member of our community's Volunteer FireFighters Brigade. A piece of highway in our response area had been recently reconstructed with a sweeping "S" curve. Within a two year period, we attended 3 fatal accidents on the first curve. Being called to one of these incidents is...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

Those stealth heads are so much better than the stock 440 4bbl/6bbl heads, you won't need a bigger cam to make more power.

    Warning- Get yourself checked out.

The C.A.C. or Coronary Artery Calcium test is a CT scan that identifies and measures calcified plaque in the arteries supplying blood to the heart. This is one of the most non-invasive tests next to an Echo Cardiogram. Shows you all of the blockages. Easy-Peasy.

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?

"WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?" ....well.....it's worth enough that you either pay me my rate to fix your problem, or you can try to fix it yourself......and then pay somebody else WAY MORE money to fix the mess you just made trying to do it yourself.

    Seat Belts

Your rust on the chrome belt tabs is pretty bad, but why not just scuff up and degrease those black areas and spray them with SEM Trim Black?

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

yeah something a bit over a stock 6pack is about what im after, 400HP/500 TQ at the crank. I just keep finding A LOT of conflicting information about what the actual specs of the 6 pack cam were.

    Can’t believe it’s mine.

That’s my preference! Give me the base model, slant six car for cheap so I can build it how I want. IMO that’s real hot rodding lol. Now there are definitely cars that deserve to be restored period correct & as oem as possible, but I have no desire to own one of those.

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

I'd guess 1000-5000 (or less) Remember, a 390hp Sixpack 440 made peak power (or at least, was RATED at) 4700 rpm.

    Medicare Part D PSA

Thanks for giving us all the heads up, I see the commercial for it all the time on the tv. Yes I’m only 25 and too young to be on this but I am with my transplant as it was required for the surgery, but I am all set and I got my card already!
