Well, that took a lot longer than it should have, time to start laying out on metal. The worst part, the roll cage is installed and I had to crawl under the cross bar to get into the back seat area, serious PITA!
Bring your tools to Peoria next weekend and get after it ha ha ha

I always found it easier to go over the crossbar..... but watch your head on the rear bars!.Well, that took a lot longer than it should have, time to start laying out on metal. Thought about that, but with my 64 yr old luck I'd slip and rack my berries on the bar!I always found it easier to go over the crossbar..... but watch your head on the rear bars!.
(And it was over twenty years ago!)
None of my bars go through the rear divider or seat back area.OK, cutting metal and wondering how you guys navigated this issue. The place where the roll cage bar passes through the divider, the spot that I didn't cut yet. Did you make a cut along a (see dotted) line to allow the piece to be opened up and pass over the bar? If so, how did you treat the cut line after the panel was in place? Or, is there another way that I'm not seeing? The dotted line in the pic would be from the P/S wheel well to the bar.

Had I been a little smarter, I would have gone this route as well. My back bars are so close to the wheel tubs that I just made a weld in piece to permanently cover that area and my center panel will go between them.None of my bars go through the rear divider or seat back area.
