This fricken old age is getting old....

I had mine removed back in 16. Had been having issues with it for 15+ years. Most of the Endo's I went to just wanted to take care of it the easy way[for them] by nuking it. I told them the only it's getting removed is by knife. Finally got hooked up with an ENT who only did knife work. The...

Man, be careful getting back on the roads after drifting off the pavement

It's worse with a tractor trailer, and really bad with a top heavy bulk tanker, or an unbaffled liquid tank with a slosh load. During my corporate tour I taught a defensive driving class during new hire orientation. All new employees attended, whether drivers or not. The key to avoiding a roll...

    Camshaft selection for Mild 440?

yes that is why I said if I had to use it. A Hughes cam like a 220-224 cam or even a 216-220 would be better both have a lot more lift if not going to go over 5000 rpms.

    The Surrogate Mother!

I paid $900 for a rebuilt dual diaphragm brake booster with the offset brake booster mounting bracket for a Hemi about six years ago at Carlisle. I found the brake booster, but I cannot find the mounting bracket. I know that I have it,and I remember holding it in my hand about a year ago, but I...

    Sheet Metal Divider, How to?

Had I been a little smarter, I would have gone this route as well. My back bars are so close to the wheel tubs that I just made a weld in piece to permanently cover that area and my center panel will go between them.

WHAT IS YOUR SKILL SET WORTH?

    Seat Belts

Found this thread before posting a similar question. I was trying to clean mine up, but there's a bunch of rust, etc. I may still try as it sounds like a restore will be ~$800-$900. My biggest concern is the buckle where the plastic/textured coating is peeling off. Does anyone know if the...

    8 year old new tires.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. What do you like better the 67 Satellite or the 69's?

I was looking at the lead  but yes 100% agree on the tires sitting in one spot.

Saw that article and went, "Hey, I know that dude". Beyond cool. At one of the MATS shows, I tried to show Rob some old dealer training items I have. Covers 49 to 51/2 Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Desoto. Film strips and records from the OLD days. Has its own record player and projector. Wasn't...

    Heater core replacement

It seems most radiators/cores are aluminum now. I have an 88 S10 I bought a new heater core for it, aluminum, didn't fit very well, not impressed. Learned my lesson. Same truck, new radiator is plastic/aluminum combo. Took original copper/brass radiator to same place. It will out last the...
