Fuel Pump That Reliably Delivers 4-4.5 PSI?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm aware of that solution but I'd like to avoid the added project of fuel line modifications, adapters etc. It also adds one more part that can fail. There seems no shortage of poor quality auto parts, and that includes the regulators. It just seems odd that pumps...

    Rear tire size

Hello all. Does anyone know if a decent 275 50 15 radial tire exists? I was running that size in a MT drag radial, but I’m not racing anymore, and it was “sketchy” in the wet. I’ve found plenty of 60 series, but I like the handling and look of the 50 much more. Thanks in advance!

Yes, there is this post: Mechanical Fuel Pump 101 And the business 'Then And Now' publishes a good video on rebuilding the Carter M6903 here: ..but hopefully there is a new pump out there by a different manufactures that meets the 4-5 PSI needed by the edelbrock / carter carburetors so...

68 road runner with front disc brakes, adding power brake booster

I’m adding a power brake unit to my 68 roadrunner that has front disc brakes. What do I need in the form of a proportioning valve? Classic industries says I need a distribution valve AND A PROPORTIONING VALVE. Where would I mount these two valves if they’re needed?

    Sickening- Cracked Block - Repairable?

Nice repair on the broken ear! Yeah, the freeze plug hole is not a candidate for drill & stitch repair. Weather you use the Tig Tectic filler rod or something very similar I believe welding is your only option. Have it welded and forget it. It's not in a high stress area. The area just needs to...

Fuel Pump That Reliably Delivers 4-4.5 PSI?

The only way to make sure your fuel pressure stays at 4-4.5 is to get a fuel pressure regulator.

Fuel Pump That Reliably Delivers 4-4.5 PSI?

Unfortunately all that's available in my area is 10% ethenol pump gas -- I'd like to avoid plumbing in a regulator if possible to avoid one more potential failure point in the fuel system however if there are no pumps out there that can deliver the lower pressure I will resort to that.

Fuel Pump That Reliably Delivers 4-4.5 PSI?

Do not know who it is, but someone does fuel pumps. Saw it either here or on FABO. What about an over the counter pump, non Carter? Yeah, Chinizium.
