I had something similiar on my 69 Charger except it was riveted on but from what I understand it didn't come from the factory that way it was usually a dealer added moulding to help prevent parking lot door dings. My personal opinion it looks way better without it.

Congrats, its been a little over 2yrs for me now.
I did end up with a part time job after 9 months. But it's different , im working now because I want to, instead of working because I have to.
I changed all my 4ft fluorescent bulbs to 4000k LEDs and couldn’t be happier. Didn’t have enough fixtures so, just added more light. Actually took 2 fixtures down and intend to make brackets, with magnets, to stick the extra fixtures to my 2 post.
