I had something similiar on my 69 Charger except it was riveted on but from what I understand it didn't come from the factory that way it was usually a dealer added moulding to help prevent parking lot door dings. My personal opinion it looks way better without it.

Intumescent is for sealing holes and large cracks.....not really for automotive applications AFAIK.

I changed all my 4ft fluorescent bulbs to 4000k LEDs and couldn’t be happier. Didn’t have enough fixtures so, just added more light. Actually took 2 fixtures down and intend to make brackets, with magnets, to stick the extra fixtures to my 2 post.

Working on the perimeter of my lot. Cleared out underbrush, cut off overhanging limbs & branches, cut down a couple of small, junk trees using a hand saw. Up next...chainsaw and heavy duty hedge trimmer in a couple of days.
