This is a 77. Should be a twin to yours, with the pistons .154 in the hole. I've ran it in 3 different cars around the 12.0 area . It's got ported 906's(82cc) .528 mopar cam/ 1.5 roller rockers. I could straight swap in your shortblock and it would do the exact same thing. Saying motorhome...
Just a minor update. I flushed the cooling system weekend before last, and last weekend I removed the rad and threw it in the back of the car. Today I took it down to the local rad shop. He recommended a four row max cooling replacement core. I only want to do it once so why not? I told him...
You need to grind some groves perpendicular to the crack on the back side, get the front side lined up nice and clean and then add some metal pin (paperclips) all embedded in Permatex plastic mender or JB Weld for plastic.

Pardon my ignorance, never removed any glass before.
Yes original. Been in the SoCal elements since new. Rubber isn't hard or brittle though as I can dig my fingernail into the exposed areas an it "rebounds"
I say get it running and driving with what you got, aside from finding a long tail shaft snd housing that will be money well spent rather than spending money getting a bastard drive shaft made. Nix the intake and distributor. When you got it on the road and driving then throw some money at hot...
67 GTO is my favorite non-Mopar car. I'll take the tri-power 400 with a 4 spd.
And I think the early to mid 60s Pontiacs were the best looking big cars.
Hobbies thru the years: Cars, guitars, men's baseball league, same softball league, golf. Now at 78, only cars, guitars and repairing everything that goes wrong with the house.
Yeah I gotta start playing hockey again. Been 15 years since I was on beer league. Im old enough now for old timers, probably more tame than the guys that think they were cheated out of the show. I actually have composite sticks now too. When I quit beer league I was still refusing anything but...
