Go to https://chatgpt.com and type in "why do i get disgusting advertisments on some websites?" in the ask anything box. It will explain why these types of ad show up. Not the fault of your browsing history.

Does it explain that it's from typing that question into chatgpt? Didn't think so. Everyone needs a brain of their own. Chatwhatever won't replace it.

We do not allow the sale or purchase of guns etc here....been like that for a long time.

My reasoning is simple. I don't know what the federal regulations about such things are and frankly I don't want to spend the time to learn and keep up with them as they change. I also dont want to be worried about being under scrutiny of the alphabet govt people
