Good Morning, Just finished cutting up the plate steel someone used to repair my RH frame rail so I could get a better look at the damage. My question is, is this worth or can be saved? Has anyone used those frame Safe T Caps and would it work on this application? Thanks!

Speaking just for myself: The Indy 440 EZ-1 aluminum head had to be shaved with a grinder on the corner closest to the distributor in order to use the Holley Hyperspark distributor. The Msd did not require that. My covers came from Marsh and don't have the long bolts through tubes. You can see...

IMO... I put a stock rebuilt unit in my 65 when restoring it. I wish I had gone with an after market performance unit. I feel the stock unit has too much power steering. When I was younger I did not notice it then. My current build 69 RR will get a performance power box.
