That's kind of what happened to me, the second generation Chargers started getting too expensive and harder to find, and third generation Chargers were plentiful and somewhat affordable.
I put the ball in the seller's court to call me. No more vague messages through eBay. I'll update if he calls. With Christmas coming up I need to watch my vacation hours. I might drive out on a weekend to look at it, but my holiday schedule of family visits kind of makes that difficult, too...

My street car weighs 3885 with me. Runs 11.0's. 4.30 gear with homemade leaf springs using the leaf pac on the stock main leaf from a Hemi GTX. 10.5x28 M/T. Never spins. Now has 9 way adjustables on rear making it quicker in 60ft, 1.53.

1- Push buttons are "super cool".
2- A gear vendors OD will allow you to keep it and likely be less of an installation issue than a trans with built in OD.
3- I believe a FABO member installed a more modern OD trans (A999?) in a duster with few mods.
