What's it Worth 68 Coronet R/T on eBay. YEP it's green!

Looks OK if the price is right, but really can't tell how good the body really is from the photos.
The wiring looks like the biggest issue from what I could see.
Also the rusty fuel lines,

Good luck and I hope it works out for you. It's a car that will need small things but if it has good bones and solid factory metal priced within your range then pursue it. Mechanics have to be all in working condition with no sounds from the engine and trans shifting smoothly. A plus would be factory docs like broadcast sheet. I like the color. It did look like carpet was bunched up on passenger side. A pet peeve of mine is when these cars are for sale the sellers dont seem to care much about soiling the bare carpet on the drivers side. Put something down to keep it clean and allow the car to present well.

From the minimal underside pics, it looks like a solid car. Definitely need to check out the bodywork in person. The under hood looks to be the biggest mess on the car. Needs new wiring, windshield washer squinters and tank along with everything else others have mentioned. If a guy could buy it right, that one might be a good candidate for a driver and plan on spending a few thousand to make things right as you drive it.

Always need to inspect a car in person. the paint jobs on cars usually look better in photos than when you look close up.
My 1973 Jensen is like that. The previous owner painted the car to flip it, and it was an OK paint job, but when looking closely you can see sanding scratches under the single stage paint job. I still bought the car as the price was right and the car is in fairly good original condition, but I knew it was a project car when I bought it.

This Coronet looks like someone project car as it looks like they put some nice parts on it.
Sellers story might be interesting. If they farmed out the work, likely they spent more money than expected and might have had issues and lost interest?
With the rusty fuel lines and rats nest wiring, I'm guessing they might have has some unexpected problems even though the engine, transmission and front suspension was rebuilt?

I put the ball in the seller's court to call me. No more vague messages through eBay. I'll update if he calls. With Christmas coming up I need to watch my vacation hours. I might drive out on a weekend to look at it, but my holiday schedule of family visits kind of makes that difficult, too.

When you work full time and have the holidays planned out in advance it's not the best time to make a 1,800 mile round trip to see a car.

I appreciate the feedback. Overall I think everyone agrees this might be a good buy under 40, but I'll assume the reserve is much higher.

front suspension was rebuilt?
It doesn't look to me as if the torsion bars have been out.

That piece of rubber looks like it came out of a LCA bushing. I wonder how it got there?
