    "Please S T O P saying this" thread.

In general population, the term ice is applied to water at or around 0°C and below. Oddly enough that's the benchmark for Celsius temperature grading. Now hanging out with the thermodynamic nerds in the science lab... the conversation could go on forever..

Thanks Jim! I pulled the torque converter out and it has this number on it. Not sure what that means?

    FOR SALE A-833 OD 4-speed

So I could just do this with my existing tranny and make it an OD?

    FOR SALE A-833 OD 4-speed

It's the same size as a regular 833 so no tunnel work.

    FOR SALE A-833 OD 4-speed

No tunnel clearance needed. It is a 833 just like your current transmission. You will either need to cut down the bearing retainer to fit your bell housing or open up the bell. Your shifter will work, the dog bone will bolt onto the same spot. You will need to flip the 4th gear rod as the OD...

Replaced the brittle & leaking valve cover gaskets & everything looks mint inside. Hopefully, that will take care of most of the oil leakage. Working on the interior, I had the seat foams replaced & the tear in the passenger seat addressed. They were able to replace that one panel. While the...

"Rebuilt" Thermoquad idle mixture screws have no effect.

Do thermoquads have transition slots like holley carburetors? If they do, check to make sure they're not uncovered too much. But it could be a vacuum leak.

Flexplate to Crank Bolts - 70 383 HP

Checked my flywheel and they're 7/16-20 thread. I checked my bellhousing bolts; somehow, I'm missing one of those as well. I went through everything, and I mean everything, as I haven't thrown anything away on purpose yet. I have kept all my broken bolts, used bushings, and rusted parts. I went...

    "Please S T O P saying this" thread.

While you can have beer remain a few degrees below freezing due to the alcohol, the term "Ice Cold" itself is meaningless, as you can have ice temperatures range anywhere from 32F down to absolute zero. There is no single temperature for ice.

    You're some kind of stooopid!!!

Several years ago I got into the left turn lane and this woman pulls out of an apartment parking lot and blocked me in the esplanade. Around here pulling out of parking lot doesn't give you the right away....and I wasn't in the mood so brake stand time! Scared the snot out of her. Y'all reminded...

"Rebuilt" Thermoquad idle mixture screws have no effect.

I personally rebuilt the 1972 factory Thermoquad (6139S) after purchasing it used. Now installed on a fresh rebuild which we have just barely broken in the camshaft for twenty minutes. Idle sounds crappy and mixture screws turned in all the way have no effect (nor does unscrewing them). Putting...

    Random picture thread

Your family's great story is the same story as nearly all immigrants that have come to America, including today. There will always be scammers among us and some will even reach high places in government and society. Immigrants escape to America and generally bring a great work ethic, and later...

Dumb question but what harnesses do I need

I suggest you check with National Moparts in Beaverton Ontario. They have been selling M&H harnesses for years. Then you don’t have any hassle.

    1968 Coronet 426 production

I'm trying to piece together the history and VIN of a 1968 Coronet R/T 426 Hemi that I owned in the early 1980's. At that time I wrote down all the broadcast sheet info, but for some reason I left off the full VIN. I'm trying to figure out the plant code so I can get the correct VIN. Were 426...
