    Random picture thread

Your first and second paragraphs are demonstrably incorrect. Your statements may have been true in the main before 1965, but not since. Your last, laughable.

    1968 Coronet 426 production

If the B169038 characters are the last seven of your VIN, then it is Hamtramck built.

What was the first car you remember falling in love with?

Sorry to hear that, i guess our parents had good taste in cars! My dad bought a 70 Charger 500 with a 383 2bl new in 1970 which I drove in high School. Didnt keep that one when he passed in 2009. But i kept the Hemi Charger .

    1968 Plymouth GTX

Me either. I put a new one in the A100 since it was a BluePrint 408 and makes its power higher in the band. My cars are all built for max torque at 3000 so I had them rebuilt as the factory stall speed is what I needed. The transmission shop sent them out for me. That was before I had my own...

Flexplate to Crank Bolts - 70 383 HP

On the flexplate to converter bolts, with ARP bolts, highly recommend red loctite and 50 to 55 lb-ft torque. I have had several loosen up on me before I went with this method.

    "Please S T O P saying this" thread.

In general population, the term ice is applied to water at or around 0°C and below. Oddly enough that's the benchmark for Celsius temperature grading. Now hanging out with the thermodynamic nerds in the science lab... the conversation could go on forever..

    FOR SALE A-833 OD 4-speed

It's the same size as a regular 833 so no tunnel work.

    FOR SALE A-833 OD 4-speed

No tunnel clearance needed. It is a 833 just like your current transmission. You will either need to cut down the bearing retainer to fit your bell housing or open up the bell. Your shifter will work, the dog bone will bolt onto the same spot. You will need to flip the 4th gear rod as the OD...

    1968 Sport Satellite

Replaced the brittle & leaking valve cover gaskets & everything looks mint inside. Hopefully, that will take care of most of the oil leakage. Working on the interior, I had the seat foams replaced & the tear in the passenger seat addressed. They were able to replace that one panel. While the...

"Rebuilt" Thermoquad idle mixture screws have no effect.

Do thermoquads have transition slots like holley carburetors? If they do, check to make sure they're not uncovered too much. But it could be a vacuum leak.
