So I’m referbing my exhaust manifolds and wonder if I should add these plug insulator shields? I believe one gets attached via a manifold bolt but the other via head bolts. Regarding the one that requires head bolts, I assume it would be foolish of me to remove and retorque the two head bolts...
The Himalayan Eagle is one of the most fierce birds of prey in the world. It can fly to an altitude of 11,300m (37073 ft) and can see it's prey from a distance of 6K (3.73 mi).
They look so subtle, but yet original! I am considering powder coating all of the chrome on the '69 to a matte black finish. I'll probably PC the shiny on these wheels also. I'm not much of a shiny person, so matte black in lieu of chrome and limo tint on the windows. Trying to go "Angry...
The lift is by Ideal and it is an absolute life and time saver!! No issues, knocking on wood, but I do put two screw jack stands under the opposite corners. IMO, for safety and the car moving around while you are wrenching the stands make it rock solid. I'm 6'-2" and can walk under the car...
I was going to disagree but decided to check your link first. Thinking that the link went to an incorrect page, I went to their website. Your link does go to their "NEW" break-in recommendations, but if you go to the "Product Catalog" and at the bottom, "Engine Assembly and Break-In", it still...
I did adjust the rockers again. Panned out to be about the same (I used 1/2 turn this time and about 1/4 turn the first time). I did notice some of the adjusters are screwed down pretty far (push rods a little short?).
Nobody I see has mentioned block filler as well. The shop I used to repair my badly damaged numbers matching hemi block always uses block filler after extensive repairs WAY worse than what you have. Allyn Lee said that it was a backup to seal any missing internal cracks in the oil galleries...
Godish is a member here, although I almost never see a post....... MoparGod? maybe
Sicklerville is on the other side of the Twp, 6-7 miles from me....... The only 70 RR I remember locally was a blue, supposed 6 pk car that sat in a yard for years; other side of Sicklerville in the next...
Also, add block filler up to the bottom of the frost plug holes. Normal procedure at ARL Racing. They repaired many 426 hemi blocks back in the days when no replacement hemi blocks were available. They would repair hemi block with chunks missing!
1 piece 15" alloy left vs 14" OEM Magnum on right; I wanted a look as close to the original as possible.

I bought this at the Chrysler dealership in the mid 80s. Later learning this is wrong style for my '67 car. I did bolt it on for pictures but took right back off, never had fluid in it. Been in a box ever since.
I cannot remember if it came with pump.motor or not but it is included along with...
Looking for any info from previous owners on my 1970 road runner, FC7, 383, 727, Go-Wing. I bought it from Frank Godish, Bridgeton NJ in 2000 but I am not sure how long he owned it. The only other owner info I have is a John F Killmeyer in Sicklerville from a document dated 1994. The car was...
Love those wheels! Personally, I would put knockoffs on em, but that's just me. I like knocks off on pretty much anything. lol
Btw, what brand is your lift? Any issues with it? Would you buy it again?
I've been looking for a lift for a while and really wanted a 1 poster cuz I...
