The 833 with Gear Vendors setup sounds like a solid combo, but if you're set on the TKX I'd definitely hang onto that original 727 like others said - you might want it back someday.
The console and non console floor pans are exactly the same. You will probably have to cut a hole for the shifter for your new transmission. The console if you have one will make it unnoticeable.
