Who has MOVED from their home state ? How difficult was it for you?

KD, Kingman's temperatures in the summer are great, but the winter is going to be a little colder than the Sacramento area. It sits at about 3600' altitude so snow can make an appearance occasionally as well. Best of luck.

Who has MOVED from their home state ? How difficult was it for you?

I'm pretty sure the only area in AZ that requires emissions checks is the Phoenix area. There is really not going to be that perfect area to move to. It's always going to be an exercise of weighing the pro's and con's and making the best decision you can at that particular time. BUT, do make...

Is this a Chrysler Electronic Distributor?

Thanks for the answer. The smaller ones ( 12-14 ) just seemed to take up a lot of the slot to my eye. Going to update to a better distributor in the near future anyway. Thanks again. RR

    Remflex, Headers, Bolts & Leak

Hello everyone, So, this has probably been covered to death, but I'm searching for someone who may have had to deal with the same issue I have and can lend some advice. On the '63 the motor has 906 heads, some unknown type of headers ( no markings, on the car when I got it ) and Remflex header...

    Mopar Performance Distributors

Does anyone know who's making the distributors that Mancini and others are selling as Mopar Performance Distributors. It looks to me like they might be Proform but not 100% on that. Also, what type of internal mechanical advance mechanism do they have? Thanks. RR

Has anyone tried this setup with 440 Source valve covers. For that has anyone found any aftermarket distributors that will fit those valve covers ( on 906 heads ). Thanks: RR

Newer Direct Connection Distributors - Mechanical Advance Limiter

Outstanding. Now if I can keep this info somewhere I won't forget it. Maybe I'll be able to keep the '63 in tune. Have you ever tried the Summit gauge kit or have you always been winging it with drill bits. I notice the one tine I did try to adjust mine I felt it would have been better if I had...

Newer Direct Connection Distributors - Mechanical Advance Limiter

Bean, So let me see if I've got this right. If the slots a fully open ( full hole showing ) that would be max advance. Conversely, if the are fully closed ( no hole visible ) then that is the minimum advance setting. Do I finally have that right. Thanks. RR

Newer Direct Connection Distributors - Mechanical Advance Limiter

That's what I originally thought, and I adjusted mine with the tab partially closed but the illustrations in the instructions threw me a curve. If I remember correctly I think I ended up with somewhere in 1/8"+ amount of open slot showing. Thanks. RR
