Coolest Buell.... 1125R
The 1125R is powered by a 1,125 cc (68.7 cu in) Helicon V-twin engine made by BRP-Powertrain (Rotax) of Austria. The liquid-cooled engine has a V angle of 72° and produces a claimed 146 hp (109 kW), with a rpm limit of 10,500.[6] Motorcycle Consumer News tested 127.1 hp...
Not sure about British Columbia, where the car in question is apparently registered, but in Ontario, the "Used Vehicle Information Package" is mandatory if the vehicle is sold privately. For some reason, dealers are not required to utilize it(?). It is really a $20 grab by the Ontario...
How much playing was required, if any was done, with the pedal linkage adjusting? This can be a number of things (as I found out after a brake conversion including from manual to power). Seems elementary; but make sure the pads are not binding in the calipers watching them with a partner...
I knew this before buying a '66 Corvette from a dealer in Georgia 15 years ago. Georgia doesn't title cars that old, and I told them I wasn't interested in the car if it was sold on a bill of sale. They assured me they could obtain a title. It took six months, but eventually they produced a...
I opened the bidding @$426. Was a bit worried when no other bidders chimed in for a few days. That would prove to be more of a project than I wanted to tackle presently. I figured the 440 that was resting on the K member was at least worth that, providing it had not been frozen.
I contacted MSD tech support and was told I needed a 8132 Signal Generator. I looked it up and it is described for use with a magneto style ignition system, which is not what I have. The 8920 appears to be correct for my needs but, I want to be sure of proper wiring before I drop another 'C'...
I am actually on a project in Alberta presently. Wouldn't mind checking to Satellite out in person, but it appears to be located on Vancouver Island, so a bit of a logistics problem for me at the moment.
Just like contact cement. Coat both sides, let it flash and stick, it ain't goin ANYWHERE! No need for clothespins... and dries Yellow just like the factory OE.
I am out of ideas with this. On my dad's '74 Cuda, the brakes will stay on when you press the peddle. You have to lift up the peddle with your foot to get it to come off. Parked at idle the peddle hangs up a little so that the lights are on, but going down the road it keeps them on enough that...
My Avatar picture is from a Landy dealership poster. I still have that poster I bought from Landy's wife at Spring Fling along with a bunch of other goodies.
Good times
That's a Bat hangup. I have had to argue with them on both listings I have sold through them. The solution we agreed upon was to put an explanation in the listing text, similar to dadsbee's explanation.
