This fan measures 19-1/2" across from blade tip to blade tip. Would this fit into those re-pop 1962 (2) piece metal fan shrouds?
Also, what engine did this originally come on, if anyone knows?
Thanks!
Greetings,
I am going to replace the rear main seal on a 1963 Chrysler 413 and I have watched numerous install videos of the rubber seals (Mancini, Fast Fish, 440 Source) which all seen to be a (cross your finger type attitude and "clocking" the rubber seal etc.) and my question is: Has anyone...
Can I get some comments about using a progressive linkage V/S a straight linkage set up using these carbs on a stock Chrysler 413 with a slight cam? What's better or worse? Good or bad? Also, who sells the progressive linkage?
Thanks! :usflag:
Greetings,
Merry Christmas and a VERY happy new year to everyone!
After many excellent comments & suggestions on carb/cfm choice for my 413, I am going to go with the Edelbrock CH-28 2X4 intake w/#1405 carbs (600 cfm) and the #7094 linkage kit. The 727 is a 1971 year with the factory kick...
Greetings,
QUESTION: Will a 413 with 1971 HP exhaust manifolds fit into a 1962 Polara 500 with out any clearance issues with the passenger shock mount and the drivers steering gear box? I searched for size dimensions (NADA) so I figured to ask you gurus out there. I know the RB is wider than...
Greetings,
I'm researching the thought of freshening up a 1963 Chrysler 413 with a mild cam (474/280 Hyd Flat Tappet 234/234 Duration) with stock pistons and the ONLY low rise dual quad intake to fit under the hood is a Edelbrock CH-28 Intake 5440 which recommends a set of Edelbrock 1405 carbs...
Greetings.... I have a completely stock 1963 Chrysler 413 and I would like to put a decent cam/lifter set into it without losing vacuum for my power brakes and heater controls/etc. Lately, the rumors are today's "good" new cams have terrible quality control and they now kinda s u c k. Who is...
Greetings,
some time ago, a guy posted in this forum that he had black fratzog inserts available for sale. ( I'm assuming he made them from a printer) Does anyone remember who he is/was? Or if you see this, please contact me. I need some.
Thanks in advance!
Greetings,
What is the correct position to install this oil seal? Does the notch in the metal go in at "12 O Clock" and the hole in the rubber boot goes in at "6 O Clock"?
:thankyou:
A while back, I bought a set of re-upholstered rear seats for my 62 Polara 2 door. The guy said they came out of a 63 "B" Body and I figured no problem. I did not ask him what model of a 63 they came out of. I figured, 62 to 65 are usually identical, right? Well, not on the rear seats. The 63...
If someone can send me a few interior rear deck pics of how the package tray fits with the rear seat back on a 62 Polara, that would be cool!
Got this pkg. tray some years ago and I'm wondering if this is a "trim to fit" piece? The center of the steel deck measures 12" and the tray measures...
Greetings,
Would anyone happen to know what size & type (machine or sheet metal) of screws hold the sun visors in and also the rear view mirror?
When I bought my car, it had no sun visors and they also boogered up the rear view mirror with some crap screws and I cannot see what the threads...
1973-74 R.R. door & rear hood trim set. the left (drivers) side is NOS in the wrapper and the other two are in great condition. Some of the rear sliding attaching clips are missing but you probably can get them from R/T SPECIALTIES. (The dog sniffed out the NOS piece.) $320.00/OBO +...
Hello,
I just ordered a set of visors from Classic Industries along with the "plastic sun visor tips". Once inserted into the visor and the other end snapped into the rear view mirror housing, is that the ONLY thing holding these visors in place? I tried to find pics but nope.
Thanks. :poke:
Greetings,
anyone have a video tutorial OR instructions on how to replace the vent window seals on a 1962 Polara 500? I am using METRO #ALP 27-A wing vent seals and "visually" it doesn't "look" right. I'm going to call METRO tomorrow but I wanted to "reach out" to my knowledgeable "B" Body...
Greetings, everyone
I want to replace my throttle cable but pictures of the "new" replacement cables are not matching up to what I currently have. The '62 MoPar Bible Book shows #2268 349 for the cable part number along with the illustrations showing the cable having a clevis on both ends of...
